Our Military deserves to be honored and appreciated. The brave soldiers dedicate their lives to protect the nation. And Kargil Vijay Diwas is the reminder that the freedom and liberty.

We are enjoying is because of the brave soldiers. A very hearty morning to one and all present here ! This is Vedant from class 9th. On the special day of 26th July, we pay tribute to the martyrs of India. Kargil was is one of the Greatest was fought by the Indian Army. It was on this day 23 Year ago that the Indian Army recaptured all India posts in Kargil that had been occupied by Pakistan’s Army. The War took place between may and July 1999.

In Jammu and Kashmir’s Kargil District along the Line of Control (LOC). The Army declared the mission successful on July 26, 1999 and since then the day has been celebrated annually as Kargil Vijay Diwas.

To commemorate the victory of the Indian Soldiers over the infiltrating Pakistani troops, to commemorate the sacrifices made by soldiers in this war. Dear friends, India got the victory but with a high price. The official death tolled on the Indian side was 527, while that on the Pakistani side was between 357 and 453. we can never forget the supreme sacrifice made by our brave soldiers to uphold and safeguard the integrity of the nation.

And we pay homage to them. Dear All our soldiers are guarding our boarders with their sweat, blood and tears. They make the supreme sacrifices to protect us and our motherland. We also have some duties towards our nation.

We should maintain unity and fraternity among fellow citizens. Dear all everyone can serve his country doing his duty to the best of his ability. I, you all can serve the country by doing our duties well.
