Respected Principal Sir, Teachers and My Dear friends Good Morning to All.
My Name is Vedant and I study in Class 8. Today is 31st October and we are here to celebrate National Unity Day.
“Manpower without unity is not a strength unless it is harmonized and united properly, then it becomes a spiritual power” Quoted by Sardar Patel. We are celebrating ‘National Unity Day’ Today. Congratulations for the National Day of our Motherland.
To mark the sacrifices and great vision of Sardar Patel, we celebrate ‘National Unity Day’ or ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’. This Day is all about unifying the people of India, This is to remember as the unsung efforts of the ‘Iron Man Sardar Patel’ because of his efforts to shape the country with idea of Hindus and Muslims residing in the same country together.
Dear friends, Let us all take inspiration from this leader regarding patriotism and unity. Let us bow our to the Iron man for his dedication & for his efforts towards a united India. Sardar Patel’s birth anniversary is celebrated as ‘National Unity Day’ on 31st October in the country to pay tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel an Indian Freedom Fighter, India’s first deputy prime minister and home minister. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel ‘The Iron Man of India’ or ‘Loh Purush’ was born on October 31, 1875. He was one of the most known Indian Politicians after independence when the British withdrew from deeply divided country.
He was instrumental in making a united India from the 365 Semiautonomous princely states and british-era colonial provinces just after the partition of India and Pakistan. The Title ‘Sardar’ was given to him as a recognition for his exceptional organizational skills and or his efficient leadership skills during the Bardoli Satyagraha which took place in Gujarat in the year 1928.
Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel continue to inspire us to build and work for a better India. Sardar Patel used to say ‘We can inculcate patriotic feeling only if we stay united. With unity, we can take the country to new heights. If we are not united, then we will only be troubled with new difficulties’.
Dear friends, this day is actually encouraged us to follow the path of Dharma – The path of Truth and Justice and forget our quarrels.
